Egg Hunt

As part of our commitment to promoting the

YEAR OF FOOD AND FARMING
we have reintroduced our egg hunt. Children visiting the farm will be able to collect a fresh egg (when available) from the hen house to take home with them.

Year of Food and Farming
Chirpy and Thumper

NEW in 2008

The Giant Jumping pillow is now open. Chirpy and Thumper have been trying it out and agree that it's great fun for all. So bounce our way for the Summer Holidays. There is no extra charge on the normal admission price.

Ash End House Farm is a family owned farm which has been operating as a Childrens Farm for over 25 years. Our aim is to provide an enjoyable and educational hands on experience for children of all ages. We are open to the general public and specialize in guided tours for school parties and play groups.

Opening times are 10am to 5pm Spring, Summer and Autumn, 10am to 4pm in Winter (3:30pm Christmas Eve). Last admission is 1 hour before closing. The farm is closed from Christmas Day to New Years Day inclusive, reopening the next weekend in January.

In 2008, due to popular demand, we have decided to stay open throughout January. We will reopen on the 5th January 2008 and stay open every day to the 24th December 2008 inclusive.

Egg Hatching

Admission Price for children is just £4.90 including food for the animals, chick chatting and other activities. Adult admission price is just £4.50.

Girls 'n Goats

Children visiting the farm, either with their family or in a group booking, are given food to feed the animals, can hold a newly hatched chick or duckling if they wish and have a farm badge of their choice. During our Spring Summer season the children are also invited to help bottle feed the lambs and kids.

They will touch, see, smell, feel and hear lots of friendly farm animals and have fun seeing the variety of poultry in our 'Funny Fowl' farm yard.

Lots of Undercover areas allow us to house many of our friendly farm animals indoors so your outing will not be spoilt by inclement weather, in fact, come on a rainy day and the farm will be quieter! Concrete walkways give wheelchair users access to all areas of the farm
